ATA member reaches the semi finals of Australia’s got talent 2009

The family acrobatic troupe performing as the Cameo Rascale won 3 full "Yes" votes from the judges panel of Australia’s got talent show which was televised on 11th February 2009.  Nicole Capener, ATA member from the Halls Head club performed a series of acrobatic moves with her family and won the applause of the audience and the judges, especially from Red Symons who voted with "an emphatic Yes".

Let us all barrack for them for the next stages of the semi finals.  The Cameo Rascale performers can be seen on this video clip (click here).

    ATA members performing at the Channel 7 Mandurah Crab Fest – 7-8 March 2009:

    The Cameo Rascale family acrobatic troupe will be performing at the Channel 7 Mandurah Crab Fest being held at the Mandurah Foreshore on 7th and 8th March 2009. Get ready for an exciting acrobatic show from this family (Steve, Gayle, James and Nicole) that will include acrobatics, juggling, adagio and roller boarding, demonstrating great balance, great flexibility and control. They will be performing on Saturday at 1 pm and 4 pm; and again on Sunday at 1 pm and 3 pm.

    Also performing is up and coming band John and the Inverarities. Jarrad Seng, ATA member from Mandurah is the organ / piano / keyboard and melodica player in this 6 member band that consists of University of WA students. This band was judged 2nd best in the National Campus Bands Comp last year (2008). They are performing on Saturday at 12 noon and 3 pm (straddling the Cameo Rascale show; and again on Sunday at 4 pm. They are also performing at the University of WA orientation week and is back up group to the Peter Coombes show during February and March – by popular demand.

    Come on down to the Channel 7 Mandurah Crab Fest and support our members and enjoy a good weekend – try out the Mandurah crabs, they are yummy and delicious.

    Cameo Rascale continues to wow the judges and the audience at the semi finals held on 18th March and makes it to the Grand Final of Australia’s Got Talent. Well done to the Capenar family.
