At the Mandurah High School gym
On Thursday 16th December 2010
From: 5:30 pm for all junior school aged members
From: 7:00 pm for all senior school aged and adult aged members
The format will be short 30 second match bouts with paired players that each player may choose to pair with. It will be match play sparring with body trunk protectors being used and other competition protective guards for the arm, shin, in-step, mouth, groin and head guards. We will use electronic scoring systems and each player can have a go on the hand held electronic scoring units. It will be a fun night. The concept is to have a go with match play sparring in a fun environment to end the school term. Everybody should have a go at either the match play sparring or the electronic scoring systems.
comments (2)The ATA members fly out to Canberra for the 2010 Australian Taekwondo Nationals and Open being held at the AIS (Australian Institute of Sport) from 21st to 24th October 2010. The 12 ATA-WA players are part of the 100 strong contingent of Taekwondo WA state team who will contest several events at the Nationals.
