2011 kick-a-thon – Mandurah, Falcon & Rockingham
The ATA Peel region held its kick-a-thon in Mandurah and Falcon on 22nd and 25th March 2011. All members who turned up on the day, including those who had no sponsors participated in completing their 1,000 kicks. They were enjoyable nights and all achieved their 1,000 kicks target. Kim Seng, ATA Peel region Head Instructor was pleased with the efforts and awarded those who raised $100 or more with a movie pass each.
Rockingham held its kick-a-thon on 10th April. The objective of the fund-raising efforts was to help raise funds for the Taekwondo WA state association to purchase one full set of the electronic Protector Scoring System (PSS). The fund-raising is a joint venture where 50% of the funds will go to the state association and 50% go to the club members to purchase taekwondo equipment.
