Upgraded from 2.5.0 today and noticed a HUGE speed improvement.

 

The wordpress.org site isn't quite sure whether FCKEditor 3.3.1 is compatible with WordPress 2.9.2 so I put in my vote to say it is working. Current count is now 2 votes for 'works', and 2 votes for 'broken'.

 

When editing or creating a new article, the previous FCKEditor 2.5.0 use to take anywhere from about 30 seconds to 1 minute to load for me.

Using the same computer, same connection and roughly around the same hour (so really, the server load should be roughly the same) – the new version loads up for me in about 10 to 15 seconds.

 

A bit of aesthetic improvements, but I'm more impressed that I don't have to wait so long now.

Obviously, this wouldn't affect most readers of this site – just the administrators and publishers, who are able to edit and write new posts / articles.
