Due to the website issue discussed here I tried reinstalling several times, the old version of 2.3.3 and also 2.5.1

None of them seemed to work (or fix the issue). I still had a PHP Fatal error in some cases and in others the admin user did not have sufficient permission to access the administration area.

In the end. The host server provided 2.5.0 through Fantastico. I installed it. Again, the same problem with the admin user not having correct permissions. Then I left the computer out of frustration.

Then when I tried accessing website again about 30 minutes later, it all seemed to work. Then I just had to restore the latest backup which is about a week old.

Apologies for any articles/comments/forum-posts that were made in between, because they will now be missing.

Some features do not seem to work now. Notably, the flash video player and upcoming events page.
