This article is aimed primarily at the use of mathematics to help in hitting the target "harder". To be more specific, the impact angle.

First of all, one of the key components to scoring in a taekwondo sparring match is hitting the target accurately AND powerfully with our intended weapon/s. This will also apply to other situations also, not just for tournament fighting – self defense, street fighting etc. Being able to hit your intended target with your choice of weapon is a fundamental that needs to be observed.
