Grading held in Mandurah – 6 April 2008
The first grading for the year kicked off in Mandurah today for members of the Mandurah, Falcon, Halls Head and Rockingham branch clubs. It was a good start for the new members and the general standard was quite good.
Elanie Schoeman (formerly from South Africa, and now based in Rockingham) did very well and was judged the best grading on the day while young Corey English from Mandurah showed he was up to it with a good first up display. Both won the best grading awards for the day.

Happy Birthday Mira!!! How old are you now … 11 ??? You’re taking your time, growing up:)
Yes congratulations to Elanie and Corey – I watched the grading today.
Elanie showed strong sharp control in her technical forms today. The movements looked natural from start-to-finish and leading into the next step. Her kicking actions were spot on and she showed effortless flexibility, especially with the roundhouse kicks.
Corey displayed great control and power in his technical forms. I was quite “wowed” when he got up and started. His posture and overall appearance looked flawless. Naturally upright, he looked very well balanced through all his taekwondo moves.

thanks Purple! I’m glad I did well so far but I think the hard work is going to start from now on!
Hope you had an awesome day on your birthday!
