Intensive testing – a new reform to training and educating the WTF referee

Last issue, I discussed the referee performance evaluations and scoring profile initiatives as enablers to assist with referee and judging development and improvements.  This issue, I would like to discuss referees’ continuous requirements to update themselves to the competition rules and amendments.

WTF taekwondo competition rules appear to be changing or being amended just about once every 2 years.  This has been true for the last 8 years.
