Karate Kid – The movie

Karate Kid Cinema Display

I know, this is about a week old – and I apologise, The movie is still playing and I believe the display is still up.

The ATA group was asked to place some static display items for the launch of the Karate Kid movie in the Reading group of cinemas in Mandurah. It was gladly taken up and we placed numerous martial arts items on display including the Karate Kid white jacket and pants and kungfu shoes. You can view the display at the cinema – have a look at the photo and see what else you can find.

I believe there is or was a competition to win free movie tickets regarding this topic. Something along the lines of "spot what you can recognise from the Australian Taekwondo Academy".

    I wonder how it went.

Have you seen my shirt? Asian / Oriental style cotton kung-fu jacket.

Last seen at the Reading cinema complex in early July 2010 at the launch of the movie. You can see the white jacket displayed with the movie props at the cinema in the photo above. Gone missing from the display is also a pair of black nunchakus.

Stealing is an offence – and can be the catalyst to future violence. Violent physical confrontation is not something we look for nor invite. If you took it, or know of who did – please contact me to organise its return. Thanks.
