I had already (at the beginning of the year) made the decision not to go this year. A bit unfortunate because it’s somewhere different – Brisbane, Queensland. I haven’t been there for a Nationals yet.

I’m hoping that we as a state, Western Australia, can get together and act as one group. I know it’s a tall ask, and all I can say is “every little bit counts”. A little bit last year, a little bit more this year, some more next year – and eventually we’ll get there.

I’m hoping we can get more WA State Team photos. Like Richard said, some photos at training – then some photos there in Brisbane. Maybe we can even get some more West Australians stay back to barrack until our very last competitor of the day.

Who knows? Maybe they’ll do a state-by-state cheering contest too. We should work on that too!

I like the group photos. Thank you for arranging and organising all of them. It’s good to see the different Western Australian State clubs come together like that. Wish there were more!

Also, nice shots of the ANZ Stadium at the Olympic Park. I like the lighting effects from those night shots.
