I guess since the new competition rules start this month, this course becomes quite important. Even as a refresher.

The new rules to start in June is only for the WTF promoted events such as the World Cup. There are other international events that implemented it, but in Australia it will only start after the new rules courses have been run from July.

In WA, the new rules will be taught from July (5th in Perth and 12th in Bunbury) and will be implemented in the August 8th-9th WA State championships. NSW will also be teaching the new rules in July and implemented in their August state championships.
