Rewards and Benefits for the taekwondo referee official

posted by Kim Seng at 10:59 pm in Coaching, Referee

I will start by defining what is and who is the referee official.  This is important as we then can understand the type of person and the tasks the referee gets involved with.  The referee official is any qualified person who controls the actual play of a competition by the application of the rules and laws of the sport to make judgements on the rule infringements, performance, time or score.  The taekwondo referee does them all.  And why does the sport need them?

The referee officials are an essential part of taekwondo sport. They make sure everyone plays by the rules and that the game is safe.  And the referee is there to ensure the spirit of the taekwondo game is observed and enjoyed by all, the players, the parents, the spectators, the coaches, and all other taekwondo enthusiasts.
