Canada won the match in the sudden death after the match was drawn 3-3 in regulation time. Korea led 3-0 going into the final round, but Canada scored 3 unanswered points in the 3rd round to force a sudden death 4th round. Kim Seng displaying his confirmation diploma as an International Referee for the 2007 World ChampionshipsKim Seng, ATA-WA Head Instructor of the Peel Region, received his officiating diploma at the IR officials confirmation at the Loong Palace hotel in Beijing , China. Kim was selected by the World Taekwondo Federation as one of the International Referees to officiate at the occasion of the 2007 World Championships.

Kim Seng at the NZ selections and pictured with TNZ officialsKim Seng was invited to oversee the New Zealand national team selections held in Christchurch on 10th December 2006. This event was significant in that it was the first official TNZ selections held since it got its full recognition with their NZ Olympic Committee. The competition included their best players from all taekwondo clubs in their country and TNZ wanted to ensure fair and unbiased refereeing and judging.

Referees at the 4th Commonwealth Championships, Brisbane Australia Sep 200625 International Referees officiated at this event which was attended by 12 Commonwealth countries. This event was the 3rd edition and held in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. The referees were represented by Australia, Brunei, Canada, England, Malaysia, Scotland, Singapore and Sri Lanka. Top honours went to Australia for the poomsae competition while Canada took out the seniors sparring and Australia won the junior sparring. The referees who were qualified poomsae judges also judged the poomsae competitions. The ATA-WA is represented by Kim Seng as the Referee Director (Mandurah, 3rd from right front row in the photo) and Raffaele DiRenzo (Morley, 2nd from left back row).
